Local context
This corner of Sydney covers the widest range of block sizes we deal with. New estates through Oran Park, Gregory Hills and Leppington sit on compact, level lots with standard crossovers. Fifteen minutes away there is genuine acreage with long frontages and entry gates set well back from the road.
The estate work follows the familiar pattern: matching a builder-installed Colorbond boundary, a front fence added after handover, and covenants worth checking before you settle on a height.
The rural-residential work is a different job entirely. Long frontages, wide entries, and gates that are frequently automated because the house is nowhere near the road. On those properties the run-back check for a sliding gate is usually easy to satisfy, and the more important questions are about power at the entrance and how the gate is operated from a vehicle.
